Purchased this 12mm plate specifically for making a slightly chunkier Boerewors sausage - hadn’t quite got around to that yet when it occurred to me that it should be the right size for one of our favs - Steak Tartare! A nice piece of Aldi eye fillet through it once, into the freezer for about 15 mins, all dressed up with the classic various accompaniments....and voila - a dish fit for a top Paris restaurant or bistro..... and so easy. Vegans need not apply.
